About
Shoni is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She completed her Doctor of Clinical Psychology at Massey University, New Zealand, and has worked across adult mental health, neurorehabilitation, and forensic settings.
Shoni brings a steady, practical, and evidence-based approach to therapy. She believes that change is always possible, and that meaningful progress happens through collaboration and compassion. Her work is oriented toward helping people achieve values-driven outcomes and their sense of agency, so they can build richer and more balanced lives.
Drawing primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy, Shoni has a particular interest in supporting people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety and Mood Disorders, and trauma-related difficulties. Alongside clinical practice, Shoni values engaging with research and sharing psychoeducation, helping clients deepen their understanding of the psychological processes that influence wellbeing and recovery.
Outside of work, Shoni enjoys family time, being outdoors, and cooking!
