About

James is a Registered Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. He has experience working across the lifespan in both public and private mental health settings.

He has a strong interest in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and anxiety disorders, and experience supporting veterans and first responders. James also works with neurodivergent clients, providing structured and practical support tailored to individual strengths and needs.

James’ therapeutic style is calm, collaborative and grounded. He draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and exposure-based interventions where appropriate. Treatment is individualised, goal-focused and centred on measurable progress.

James prioritises creating a safe and respectful therapeutic space, helping clients build confidence while taking meaningful steps toward change.

Outside of the clinic, James enjoys travelling with his family and spending time outdoors, particularly running.
